The first Friendly Bed System was built by professional engineer Joe Vosters for use by his 92-year-old father (Ray) after seeing his father's mobility difficulties and also the severe mobility challenges of his brother-in-law (Bill), a stroke survivor. After reviewing products available on the Internet, it was found that none of these solutions adequately addressed their needs, so he built a system that did. The Friendly Bed Systems product line was developed to help the elderly, disabled, and rehab populations in regards to their mobility needs in the bed area. With the aging population and the cost of nursing homes/assisted-living facilities, there is a great need for products that allow people to maintain living longer (and safely) in their home environment—where most people would prefer to stay anyway. www.billrayhomemobility.com
