Did you know that your pet’s sleeping position can tell you whether or not they’re meshing with your lifestyle? Research from Sleep Advisor explains what different sleeping positions say about your pet, and what you should do about it.
If you’re constantly on the move and out of the house, your pet probably misses you during the day and wants to compensate by sleeping on you. You should make a point to set aside time for you play with your furry friend, or at least stop by the house once or twice a day to say hello. It might even be a good idea to get another pet so they have a friend when you’re gone.
Conversely, if you’re someone who likes to bring their dog everywhere, your pet may respond by sleeping curled up. This means they want to be left alone for awhile since they’ve been out all day with you. They feel safe and secure in their little ball, so let them have some undisturbed time, no matter how much you want to pet them.
