Wayne Adams. I’m 83 years old, so I have acquired some expertise on aging. I have a BA in English from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. I worked in the Public Relations & Advertising Department of Prudential’s North Central Home Office before retiring at age 55. My wife Mickey and I then started a home-based business doing writing and editing for companies in the Minneapolis area. I recently retired from that too, and have been working on several books as well as on the attached columns. (I’ve completed a book of humorous essays on aging and three children’s books. Mickey and I have three sons, three daughters, 11 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren, so I’m able to write about family issues with a certain amount of insight.
